Dream LXIII

I was on the set of the low-budget killer-cat movie, "Uninvited." It was being made in rural Australia, next to an open-air snack shop run by a lady scientist.

There were several small animals around, including two tiny, jet-black pet pigs and a large number of rabbits of various colors. I went to see the bunny nest, and a large cat was there, trying to pick up the bunnies with her teeth. I don't think she intended to harm them, but the bunnies were nervous so I picked her up and brought her away from there.

I noticed that the owner's car had a number of rubber snakes in the rear window. I theorized they were there to keep the rabbits away.

One of the producers of the film was railing against the stupidity of someone else connected with the production, saying he was the kind of person who would walk out into the rain to determine if it was raining. "And then walk 100 yards further, to see if it was raining in more than one spot," I offered and the producer liked my embellishment.

Later I went home, and looking at some shirts I recently purchased, I noticed that they were all lady-style shirts, with frilled collars and little roses painted everywhere. Since I'd bought them on sale with a "No returns" policy, I folded them up so that I could take them to the local Goodwill store.
