Dream CLXXXII

I and a cowoker were staying in a small town to do some repairs to a computer system.  We arrived the afternoon of the day before we were to do the repairs, so we decided to find some entertainment. 

I drove us to the town movie house, which was showing a movie called "Fear."  I parked in a good spot, but before either of us could get out, my car stated backing up on its own, slowly at first, and then turning in strange ways.

I remembered that I had modified my car to do this as part of an online game that I was playing.  The modification was supposed to allow my car to ensure my safety in any environment.  I told my passenger that I didn't remember how to stop the action.  So when we got to a suitable place--a loading zone behind the theatre--I simply turned the car off. 

He got out.  I told him, "It should stop on its own once it finds the safest spot."

I turned the car on, and for a long time, nothing happened.  I was a bit worried that I might get towed if the car never moved again, but at last it started slowly crawling along. 

It finally found a suitable spot.  It was right next to the one I had originally chosen.
