Dream CXC

I arrived at work to discover that it was some kind of celebration of veterans, and everyone was wearing their service uniform.  Since I hadn't been told of this, and I'd never been in the service anyway, I was wearing my regular clothing.  Everyone was very cheerful and in a buoyant mood.

One of the reasons for the good mood was that nurses were going to give us free medical examinations.  This involved plugging a cable into a port in the center of our navels, and into a corresponding port on a nurse.  Everyone congratulated me, because the nurse chosen to examine me was very beautiful.

We got into a small tent, and ran the cable between us.  She thought that the two of us were very compatible and hoped we could start a relationship.

Later in the day, everyone was preparing to go to the latest Marvel movie, which was supposed to wrap up every story-line.  I'd heard rumors that another Marvel movie was supposed to open the next morning, but couldn't confirm that.

On top of a tall cabinet was an animatronic mask that Johnny Cash had used to voice a character.  Cash's voice started to speak, and I asked it about the rumors.  I couldn't understand much of what he said.  I distractedly touched the character's nose, which withdrew slightly into the face.

I apologized to Johnny Cash, but he pointed out that this was just a latex mask and not his actual face.  I knew that, but thought I should apologize anyway.
