Dream CCXVII

I was running some errands with a colleague.  We had nearly finished what we had to do, so I leaned back against a building.  Looking up, I saw part of a trailer for an Adam Sandler movie, "The Mexican."

Apparently the plot had to do with Sandler trying to bring a donkey to various places, strapped to his back.  People were constantly mistaking Sandler for a Mexican and pointing at him, hence the title.  He would move backwards or forwards in an attempt to have them pointing at someone else, but it never worked.

I said to my friend, "Boy, does THAT look terrible," and he kind of shrugged feebly.

Later, back at our hotel, he admitted he owned the movie on cassette.  I wanted to ask how he could get it so quickly when it wasn't even in theaters yet, but instead we sat down to watch it.

At one point, a tall villain (either Richard Kiel or Ted Cassidy) wanted to kill Adam Sandler, but Sandler's young son talked him out of it.  So the tall man went and sat in a corner.  I finally asked my friend how he managed to get this cassette, but at that moment, the tall man morphed into a glowing red clown, shot into the sky and exploded into fireworks.

I pointed out to Adam Sandler that this would be a good time to leave, and he agreed.
