Dream 247

I was waiting in the lobby of a bank, sitting on a couch while some friends concluded their business there.

A young woman sat next to me, and asked me a question.  However, I couldn't comprehend what she meant--I recognized the words, but they seemed to be in the wrong order.  I told her, "I have no idea what you're asking."  She had a nice little dog who enjoyed being petted.

I happened to glance at one of the computers for use by the public--it was set up near a large window--and I thought I saw the keyboard float from another table over to the station.  I looked closer but couldn't be sure what I had seen.

I turned to the young woman, but she was gone.  Instead, at a table a little further away, a large, heavy man smiled and said "I saw it too.  Must not have been happy with that!"

I smiled back and nodded.  I turned to look at the station and saw that it was now disassembled on the floor.  I turned to point this out to the man, to say "He must have really been unhappy!"  But he had gone to get coffee.  I walked over and put the computer pieces on the shelf.

I sat back down on the couch, and a very large Labrador Retriever came over to me and put his head on my lap.  I petted him, and a very dignified woman came over, smiled at me, and said to the dog, "Roger, it's time to go."  He didn't want to leave yet, so she wandered off to do more errands.

A few minutes later, I remembered that I'd left some things on one of the bank's coathooks, near the stairway down into the office area.

I walked over and brought my computer bag and another bag to gather my stuff.  I knew I had some hooks and some cables, but since I'd last been there almost a year ago, I couldn't remember what else was there.

It turned out to be quite a lot, including a camera lens and a flash.  I was trying to gather the stuff into the bags, but not having much luck.  Downstairs, I could hear some of the office workers arguing loudly about something, and I wanted to gather my stuff before they came upstairs.
