Dream CCXXIV

I was washing my hands in the bathroom when I heard some commotion outside the apartment.  Didn't seem like anything violent, so I tried to ignore it.

I turned and saw that there was water dripping from the ceiling in the shower...toward the back of the shower, where there shouldn't be any water pipes.  I tried to find where the water was coming from, but couldn't see anything.  I thought about calling maintenance, but they would be closed in a minute or two and I'd have to see if I could shut off the water myself.

Just then, the yelling increased outside, and a large control wheel in the center of the shower wall (beneath the dripping water) fell out of the wall, covering the floor with fine gravel.  

Also on the floor were several books, videos, a couple of rack-mount synthesizers and other things, now covered in the gravel and probably ruined.  

The yelling in the hall continued to increase, but I had other problems in front of me.
