Dream CCXIII

Clark Kent and Lois Lane were finally to be married.  I was sent to find a suitable location.

I was told there was a very nice cathedral in Chattanooga, so I went to arrange a site visit.  The woman I was going to meet said that she could be there at 5 PM.  I asked her, "Should I leave at 3:30 to get there on time?"  

She thought for a moment, then said "Probably should leave around 3:00."

I got there and parked on the circular driveway.  The place seemed nice enough, so we made the arrangements.

On the day of the wedding, there was a mix-up, as Bruce Wayne and his girlfriend were not on the guest list.  Alfred scowled over this, wondering about protocol.  I assured him that Clark and Bruce were very good friends and they should be allowed to attend.

I arrived on time.  The place had a nice concrete circular drive, which I thought would be convenient.  I shook her hand and made the arrangements.

On the day in question, Alfred was concerned that Bruce Wayne and his girlfriend were not on the approved list.  I quickly approached and assured Alfred that they were fine.  Fortunately, the delay was only a few minutes.
