Dream CCXV

I was a member of a jazz trio, and we were booked into one of the biggest clubs in town.

Suddenly, though, the power went out across the entire city.

The others were willing to cancel the gig, but I suggested we do an acoustic set in the park.

So the three of us headed to the city park, telling folks along the way we were going to do a free concert.

I played trombone and tenor sax, the second guy played cello and clarinet, and our leader played drums.

We set up down town and started to play, and we were well received.  I wasn't certain about my sax skills, but everyone seemed to enjoy what we did.

At the end of the set, many folks were very happy about how we'd entertained them, most very enthusiastic.

I shared a smile with my band-mates.
